Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 on an Olympic celebration. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was only six years old. She first competed at the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. Then in the year 1970, she won. She took home three golds at her debut competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972 for communist countries. In 1973 and 1974, she became the junior all-round champion. In 1975 she was awarded four golds and one silver at her first senior international competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. She was the first woman ever to perform the backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career as an entertainment professional in her teens performing as a figure skating duo with her sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career when she was in her teenage years. In her early years Carol was an ice figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating performances.
